Doom: Annihilation is none of these things, but it sure does try to be with rather amusing results.

Doom Annihilation is a "basic with a B grade" horror sci fi. So I was surprised at times, especially the 'hell' part, that it dit have some good moments.

The only ones I enjoyed were the first Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I was shocked seeing this.. (In a bad way) Total madness.. Who thought of this silly, lame and ridiculous idea?! The director tried so hard to fill the first 20 mins with as many Easter eggs and nods to the game as possible to try to fool us that this was a Doom movie. The movie has issues even for the type of movie it's aiming to be: there's a bit more that could be done with pacing, and the lead doesn't exactly steal the show, but I got exactly what I wanted out of this movie and if you were hoping that Doom would get the shlock treatment, you won't be disappointed. Wow!

Much better than most reviews say. Some of the set designs were interesting and elaborate. If you enjoy the original DOOM games this is awesome in the Easter eggs you see. This Doom is not related to the Doom in 2005.

Where is the Cyberdemon? The ultimate fate of Raccoon City rests on the perpetually procrastinating shoulders of this one poor fool. There's a problem loading this menu right now. If you give it your time lower your expectations and then you'll still be disappointed. Seriously worst film i have watched all year please save yourself the trouble by not wasting money on this movie and if you can watch it for free just stab your eyes with a fork you will feel much better than wasting your time with the horrible story line and even worse acting.

I'd gladly watch it again and I'll gladly watch a sequel. Granted, it is a low-budget movie with no star power and a we-have-seen-this-1000-times-before script. Plus, I Know What You Did Last Summer gets the green light, You adds to its Season 3 cast, and more. "That's enough to get us good reviews in 2019, right?".

The directing was weak, acting was horrible, vfx sub-par and no Doom guy.

Remember Doom? There were two, maybe three, capable actors that did a 'decent' job. From its lame story to creatures that seriously lack in variety and function, Doom: Annihilation is a terrible movie nobody needs to suffer through. I know we would want to see millions spent on a Doom movie but you know, hats off to the guy that made this, he had passion and a limited budget. IMHO the actors played their parts convincingly and the action was okay. For one, it never really takes itself too seriously because how can it? Low budget, basic effects and lean on the story front. Starring Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson?

It's definitely low-key and low budget, but the build up and action were done well. The alarm bells are raised when our ragtag crew of marines lose contact with the base and are then ordered to investigate and attempt to restore power to the facility. The effects weren't the best, but nowhere near as bad as I expected. Koji Igarashi and Inti Creates keep the past alive in this latest 8-bit delve into the Bloodstained world. They try make the male actors look weak in here..

Now you can go they had a budget...blown on rubbish CGI scenery effects in the last 20 minutes.

When I first heard that another DOOM movie was being worked on I was baffled. What in the hell were you expecting? If you go into this expecting the earth you will be disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised. | Way too much emphasis is placed on these lab coat zombies that do make for a great opportunity to show off some special effects, such as for target practice or to dine on the flesh of the living, but things get stale very quickly in Doom: Annihilation when it’s more or less the same thing over and over again.

Hell, you even get to see a biggie in the original games - the chainsaw. But there's some more original stuff going on here, too, even if it's not very well done. Without really giving away the rest of the film, we do need to talk about the demons, or lack thereof, at least. It's got gore, it's got creatures, it's got swearing marines being picked off one by one, and unlike that previous movie, it's got the BFG with the proper name.

Probably not. There is no room for catharsis in this grim world where violence begets violence and vengeance comes at a heavy price. I honestly don't understand all the hate this movie's getting, it's just a goofy direct-to-video video-game movie.

He enjoys all kinds of horror entertainment, as long as it’s got the heart and soul to it. This DOOM-ish pic was entertaining. This confusing, messy slog of a film thankfully won't take up too much of your hard-earned free time.
