As a fan of Xena and other fantasy series, I wanted to like The Outpost, but have been unable to get into this series at all. From her mysterious savior, Talon learns deep secrets about herself and her kind. Talon, the lone survivor of the Blackblood race, seeks vengeance on the men who slaughtered her people.
