But the atmosphere of Bran Castle and the whole idea of “has Dracula risen from the dead?”, that sounds like something that might give me nightmares.

I adored Stalking Jack the Ripper and it makes me so excited to read this book!
He’s funny, handsome, clever, a supportive friend to Audrey Rose and a shameless flirt. Plus I love his humor! I also loved the end of it. No fantasy novel this week, but a murder mystery set in the late 19th century. I’ll stop everything I’m doing when I get it just to read it! My thoughts were HH Holmes and Lizzie Borden. So all in all, Hunting Prince Dracula was a delightfully morbid story and a fitting sequel to Stalking Jack the Ripper.

Has Dracula risen again, or is there a sinister imposter on the loose? Audrey Rose and Thomas, the arrogant and charming forensic student, they are travelling to Romania, to the Bran castle to study forensic science.
Both the old characters, such as: Audrey Rose, Thomas”; how they were trying to find themselves, accepting all that happened a few weeks prior as well as looking ahead and building towards a better future in a way. I just finished Stalking Jack The Ripper a few hours ago and I.AM.IN.LOVE.

Together with the arrogant yet charming Thomas Cresswell, she journeys to the dark heart of Romania, home to one of Europe's best schools of forensic medicine...and to another notorious killer, Vlad the Impaler, whose thirst for blood became legend. I loved reading about Romania, seeing the language as well as the photos throughout the book.

What did you think of it? I enjoyed the mystery and the characters, despite it feeling a bit slow. I loved this book and I highly recommend it! I’m not sure.
What she finds brings all her terrifying fears to life once again. Not that it was boring, but it didn’t feel like the plot was progressing. What do you think it will be about?

Pages: 434 Hunting Prince Dracula kept us guessing from page to page of who could be the mysterious murderer of the story and let me tell you I was surprised, however, at the end I did manage … In the beginning, he was a bit blank but by the end of the book and their interactions, I think he was more himself.
It’s truly incredible and I love how the author “misleads” you and makes you doubt your own thoughts.
If you’ve read it already, I hope you loved it!!

I love that she is so passionate about forensic medicine, but still loves beautiful dresses. It had such a creepy atmosphere!
Enigmatic, brooding, and darkly handsome, Thomas Cresswell has always been the one mystery Audrey Rose has never been able to fully solve. Audrey Rose and Thomas are ready to investigate, however, whatever they will find in the castle will test them both.
Much like SJTR, you can tell that Maniscalco did heavy research for this book.
