Benny was a Kind, loving, friendly, honest and open person who worked hard and smiled a lot. He was obviously a great man as evidenced by all the memories posted. What a sad and heart breaking day for us. He always shared his space w/ me and I always had a ringside seat. Nashville, TN - May 12, 2020 --Beloved and widely-respected guitar tech and musician Benny Garcia, age 64, died Saturday, May 9, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK from pancreatic cancer. I will never forget the one Sunday open blues night that he stood up and schooled everyone with his guitar playing.

I called him my friend. Met him once at a Vince concert, and saw him in action.

I always admired his work ethic and his cool and calm demeanor in every situation. “We met as kids and played in our first garage bands together, and for the last 30 years, he traveled with me everywhere. Small world indeed. Benny was always a constant on the stage bringing Vince his guitars. Peace my brother. Know how many lives you've touched & how appreciated you were. Benny, has been one of my best friends since the 1970’s.

Benny and Brenda were married for over 40 years. Benny was like family to me like Vince was . He will surely be missed. I will miss seeing Benny take care of business at his chili pepper covered guitar stand.
